More schools are raising the red flag that a child is struggling.  In some cases they are suggesting that grade retention is a possibility.  We strongly suggest you take these warnings seriously.

The start of a new year presents an excellent time to review:

• Do you have a smart struggling child?
• Is your smart struggling child a lot smarter than present results would indicate
• Are you aware of your child’s present level of reading comprehension?  Too often schools refer to a student’s reading level, where they are referring to your child’s reading fluency — how well do they read out out loud.  You want to make sure the school tells you what your child’s present level of reading comprehension is – or get that information from people like us
• Is what your doing yielding the desired results?
• Would you like more information on how you can help your smart struggling child succeed in months not years?
