One of our moms was told by the psychologist who assessed her two boys and diagnosed them with dyslexia in 4th grade that they needed more phonics-based training to improve their reading. She knew her sons learned differently and that that approach had not been successful for them. She asked the psychologist if he could recommend a program that taught the way her children learned.
