Discovering our daughter was a visual learner was a game changer. Dyslexia had been diagnosed and after one dyslexia treatment, we tried a second dyslexia treatment. Then in 8th grade we were told our daughter was not college material — one more psychologist recommended one more dyslexia treatment
After considerable research, we discovered our daughter was a visual learner. This means she learns best when she sees and experiences information. With what has become known as the 3D Learner, our daughter improved her comprehension 4.2 grade levels in 7 months.
What we have since discovered is that the majority of students with dyslexia are also a visual learner.
