For the past 27 years, 3D Learner has helped thousands of smart, struggling students make significant gains in executive function skills, reading comprehension, and love for learning—often in just a few short months.
We take a whole-child, strength-based approach—combining cutting-edge assessments, research-based programs, and a deeply engaged team.
The result? Improved performance, increased confidence, and a renewed belief in what’s possible.
This can be done online or in-person.
In the video below, Mira Halpert, MEd., the developer and director of the 3D Learner Program ® discusses 5 no cost ways to improve Executive Function and Reading Comprehension and the 3D Learner approach to assess and improve Executive Function and Reading Comprehension.
Start with a Conversation
Most families begin their journey with us through a no cost, no-obligation conversation to explore whether this is the right path for their child. If appropriate, we’ll recommend an online assessment that gives you real insight into your child’s learning profile and will allow us to tailor a program to meet your child’s needs

Step 1: Identify Strengths and Challenges with the Mindprint Cognitive Assessment®
We start with the Mindprint Cognitive Assessment®, developed by the University of Pennsylvania. This research-backed tool identifies how your child learns best, highlights their executive function strengths and challenges, and pinpoints areas to focus on.
This is not just a test—it’s a roadmap to better results.
Step 2: Improve Executive Function with BrainWare Safari®
To improve working memory, attention, processing speed, and reasoning skills, we often recommend the BrainWare SAFARI ® Program. It’s fun, engaging, and effective.
Many students see dramatic improvements in attention, working memory, processing speed and the ability to follow through on tasks after completing BrainWare Safari.
We do the Mindprint Cognitive Assessment with our clients’ post program to show progress.
Step 3: Boost Attention with Interactive Metronome® (When Needed)
When attention and impulsivity are key challenges, we use the Interactive Metronome®—a powerful tool that improves neural timing. Research shows that better neural timing can lead to:
- Improved attention and focus
- Enhanced reading and math fluency
The Interactive Metronome will often improve sports performance, handwriting, and even dance coordination.
Step 4: Accelerate Reading Comprehension with Reading Plus®
To improve reading speed, reading comprehension, and vocabulary, we use Reading Plus®, a proven reading intervention tool that:
- Assesses present-level performance in reading comprehension, rate, and vocabulary
- Delivers personalized instruction to accelerate growth
- Helps students build stamina and confidence
In just four months, many of our students have made 2, 3, and even 4-grade-level gains in their reading comprehension. Some have increased their reading speed by 35%, 70%, and even 100%—without sacrificing comprehension.
