Reading Plus and Gemstone Vision Software can be used by students in grades 3 through college to make 2, 3, 4 and in a few cases 5 years gains in their reading comprehension over 4 to 6 months. This can :
- For the smart struggling child who has dyslexia, a reading disability, a learning disability or is just way behind in school. As shown below, a struggling third grader, who is 1.5 years below grade level is likely to enter school next school year 1.5 to 2 years below grade level. With these programs, there is a good chance they could get back to grade level.

As shown below, on the 2019 NAEP (National Assessment of Educational, close to 2/3 of our 4th graders and our 8th graders were reading below grade level. Far too many of these students are reading below basic reading levels

3D Learner is offering multiple solutions, including a combination of programs that include:
- The Reading Plus Program to improve improve reading speed and comprehension and vocabulary level and/or
- Gemstone Visual Processing Program to improve visual tracking and to address the convergence insufficiency problem that research shows is quite common. In a 2018 study, a Boston Children’s Hospital team found that 79% of the students with dyslexia had a vision related challenge — this was using a Visagraph — which is the same tool we use in our office to diagnose a vision related challenge. Reading Plus is an excellent software program to It is not a speed reading program. What is does is improve a student’s skills through intensive training. The challenge is that sometimes the program is used by schools, without the required coaching. We provide both initial training and on-going support to maximize results.
