Mom used one Boca Raton dyslexia tutor and then another. When she was looking for yet another dyslexia tutor her friend asked her if she had heard about 3D Learner.
Her friend showed her one of our cards that asked:
- Does your son remember places visited, even from years ago?
- Does your child learn best when he or she sees and experiences information?
- Is your child a lot smarter than present results would indicate?
Mom was really confused. She had spent time on the International Dyslexia Website that defined dyslexia as a problem with accurate word recognition, fluent reading, spelling and decoding Why was her friend asked her about whether her child had strong visual skills.
The friend commented — “I would recommend you speak with 3D Learner. They have a daughter with dyslexia. They found a different way to teach that worked really well for their daughter, my son and many others. They know a lot more than I do. If you want you can first do their Success Assessment that you can find on their 3D Learner Home Page. Their assessment will ask you different questions than I ever saw”
Mom did our assessment with her son, and it turned out her son had a reading comprehension issue, attention, and eye-teaming problem.

When we were finishing our first conversation she said, “You are a lot more than a dyslexia tutor. I can know see that in addition to decoding and phonemic awareness, we need to address his attention, eye-teaming and anxiety challenges. Even more important than that, he needs to improve his comprehension to succeed in school, on standardized tests and in life
If you have a child is struggling with reading comprehension, attention, anxiety, homework time and stress and/or standardized tests – -you may want more than a dyslexia tutor. Many tutors do excellent work, but they do not address all these issues – and 3D Learner does.
