Learning and Attention Issues– The Silver Lining

Learning and attention challenges pose major emotional and financial risks. These challenges are present in our family. When we were told our daughter was not college material, her mother Mira, who has her Master’s in Education, became a “Mom on a Mission”. With what has become known as the 3D Learner Program (R), our daughter improved her reading comprehension 4.2 grade levels in 7 months. She later got her Master’s in Education and today is teaching highly gifted kids. We have since helped thousands of students with learning and attention issues to succeed in months not years. The key is to partner with the right professionals.

We have discovered there are five key points for parents to be aware of

Learning, Attention and Eye-Teaming Challenges 5 Keys to Success

1- Parents often spend tens of thousands of dollars and their child does not reach their true potential. The strain on the student and the parents is often high. The parent- child relationship is often strained too. One dad shared the following:

“My child has learning and attention challenges. We spent over $40,000 before we realized our daughter was a visual learner, with attention and eye-teaming challenges. Not only did we spend a small fortune, but the emotional strain on my daughter and my wife was painful for us all”, S Braun, Florida

We have heard this story from thousands of parents about their child with learning and attention challenges. These parents have been told three things that are not true:

  • They must use a phonics-based approach
  • They should medicate their child
  • It will take years to get their child back to grade level

2- The majority of students with learning and attention challenges are visual learners. That is they learn best when they see and experience information. They often also have eye-teaming, anxiety and related challenges. These students can often get back to grade level when:

  • They are given a program that capitalizes on their strengths and identifies and addresses their challenges
  • Their parents learn how to be the coach and advocate their child needs
  • They set BOLD Goals, and stay committed to the goals and open on the how

3- You want to start the assessment process by screening to see if your child is a visual learner and what else may be holding your child back. At no cost, you can take our Success Assessment with your child. It screens for a visual learner, and for attention, eye-teaming and related challenges.

4- There is a tendency is label students with a reading issue with dyslexia. Then a phonics-based program is recommended. This may help some children. For a visual learner with attention, eye-teaming and anxiety challenges, such a program can be expensive and frustrating

5- The same child can often succeed in months not years, with a program that:

  • Capitalizes on his or her strengths and challenges
  • Identifies and addresses their processing challenges
  • Helps you to be the coach and advocate your child needs
  • Works in collaboration with teachers, schools, parents and other professionals
  • Has a process that delivers excellent results
